Abstract:
The geological odyssey continued to fascinate us with glorious discoveries in the last fifty years. The scientific pursuit around the globe and in India unravelled many of the mysteries of the earth. The great geological breakthroughs in the fronts of plate tectonics to petrology, GPS to GIS, Antarctica to astrogeology or DSDP to dating technology marvelled one and all.
