Abstract:
Well-logging can be used in global change analysis. It could serve in global change research by correlating with other methods such as isotopic stratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, rock water analysis, etc. Global change is one of the main scientific goals in DSDP/ODP, ELDP, and CDP, and well-logging is the basic measurement used in these projects. Another important application of well-logging in global change is the study of the rise of Tibet by DSDP/ODP geophysical logging.
