Abstract:
The Ocean Drilling Program ended in September 2003. No further drilling under this program will occur in the Antarctic region. In October 2003, the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program will continue the drilling program. This paper recommends that the Antarctic community develop a ten-year plan to outline the scientific goals of drilling in the Antarctic/Southern Ocean region. (MTE)
