Synthetic seismograms are used to correlate data from ODP sites 1165 and 1166 to seismic profiles of the continental rise of Prydz Bay and continental shelf of Antarctica. A combination of core and log data was used for the synthetic seismograms to help understand the nature of seismic reflectors identified from seismic surveys of the region. (MTE)
