Abstract:
This special volume include ten research papers and a review of the paleoceanographic results of Ocean Drilling Program Leg 177 in the eastern Atlantic sector of the Southern Ocean. Research results include discussions of sea-surface temperature throughout the Pleistocene, the opening of Drake Passage in the Neogene, and ocean circulation as it relates to global climate change.
