Calculation of the percentages of species in the complexes of planktonic foraminifera from site 805C has been carried out. Mean annual paleotemperatures of water at the sea surface in the Late, Middle, and partly Early Pleistocene were reconstructed on this basis. The amplitudes of the changes of paleotemperatures in the region of the site were equal to 6 degrees C. A series of cold and warm periods during the Pleistocene was distinguished and their ages were determined. It was found that the cold stages were longer than the warm ones.
