Ostracodes are discovered in samples of Sites 122-759, 122-760, 122-761 and 122-764. The fauna is well preserved. Most of the species are new. However, presence of Ostracode records index the Upper Norian to Rhaetian age. This South tethysian assemblage presents species in common with Europe and Iran and displays affinities with fauna of Southern China. Tethysian Triassic Ostracodes seem to be ubiquitous. Analysis of faunal composition allows us to specify the paleoenvironment
