An investigation of Lower Jurassic samples from Deep-Sea Drilling Project Leg 79 Site 547B off Northwest Africa revealed two new genera of calcareous nannofossils. The new taxa described are Calcivascularis (type, C. jansae n. sp.) and Orthogonoides (type O. hamiltoniae n. sp.).--Modified journal abstract.
