Abstract:
Calcareous nannofossil biostratigraphy of ODP Leg 189 (Australia-Antarctic Gateway) is reported for the Paleogene. Due to their consistent presence, the calcareous nannofossil provide the most useful information to determine the shallow-water circulation and deep-water circulation. This report documents the biostratigraphic distribution in the Paleogene and summarized datasets. (mte)
