Abstract:
X-ray goniometry, three samples from the Rio Grande Rise. Anisotropy ranges from 3.4 to 12.0%. Preferred orientation of calcite is not a significant contributor to compressional wave anisotropy in deep-sea sediments.--Modified journal abstract.
