Brachfeld, Stephanie (2000):
Rock magnetic indicators of environmental change along the Antarctic Peninsula. Joint Oceanographic Institutions, Washington, DC, United States, JOI/USSAC Newsletter, 13 (1), 20, georefid:2006-050075
Abstract:
As part of the Ocean Drilling Program (ODP), the Palmer Deep provides a remarkable magnetic susceptibility profile. The author develops rock-magnetic indicators of the environmental processes along the Antarctic Peninsula. Variations in West Antarctic ice shelves, sea ice coverage and ecology are studied for the past few decades. (mte)
