Abstract:
Three Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) sites on the Pacific continental margin of the Antarctic Peninsula are examined to determine the glacial history and deep-sea marine sediment consolidation. The main lithological and sedimentological changes in these cores are correlated using biogenic silica and the sedimentation rate. Multichannel seismic reflection profiles are presented. (MTE)
